Congratulations! Your abstract has been accepted for an oral presentation at WEON 2024. Here you can find the guidelines for your presentation.
1. Your presentation is part of a session which consists of 5-6 speakers in total. For your presentation 10 minutes speaking time and 5 minutes for Q&A is reserved.
2. Prepare your slides in landscape orientation.
3. Fonts may be different in the Mac and PC environment. We suggest that you use common fonts like ARIAL, HELVETICA, TAHOMA, VERDANA, and for symbols WINGDIGS, WEBDINGS, SYMBOL fonts.
4. The room in which you will give your presentation is stated in the programme on the WEON Congress website.
5. Each presentation is given a presentation number, which can be found in the programme. Oral presentation numbers start with “OP”. Use the entire presentation number in any communication with us regarding your presentation. Also start with this number in the file name of your presentation.
6. Presentations should be provided by e-mail to weon2024@umcutrecht.nl before Sunday May 26, 23:59 hrs. in ppt or pdf format.
7. Standard laptops and audio-visual equipment provided by the venue will be used in the presentation rooms. Should you require special audio-visual equipment, please contact the WEON 2024 Congress staff well in advance and we will try and honour your request.
8. All presentations will be pre-loaded on the equipment in the presentation room at the start of each day for a smooth flow of the sessions. Presentations will be deleted from this equipment at the end of WEON 2024.
9. If you will not be able to give your presentation, please inform us on the presenting author before May 26, 23:59 hrs.
1. Please preview your slides to make sure they appear correctly. You can do this during the coffee and lunch breaks on the day of your presentation in your presentation room.
2. Meet your session’s chairpersons 15 minutes before the session starts in the presentation room.
3. In the vicinity of all meeting rooms, staff will be present for assistance.
4. Session chairs will strictly maintain net speaking times and may interrupt you in case of a time overrun.
