Poster presentation

Preparing your poster

  • Poster presentations will be given using a paper poster. This means that posters have to be printed.
  • Your poster should be in portrait orientation, and the size should be A0 (length: 84.1 cm x height: 118.9 cm).
  • When preparing your poster, use adequate letter type and size to ensure good readability. Well-designed figures, graphs and tables will enhance the attractiveness of your poster.
  • The title on your poster should be identical to the title of the corresponding abstract.
  • In the bottom of this page, you will find a series of useful links that can be helpful for preparing your poster.
  • We advise using the #BetterPoster concept. In the Cochrane website you can find more information. The link is at the bottom of the page.

Poster sessions

  • Each poster is given a presentation number, which can be found in the program on the WEON Congress website. Use this entire presentation number in any communication with us regarding your presentation.
  • Posters should be placed at the assigned place during the whole congress.
  • The presenting author should be standing by their poster during the poster session on the assigned day. Please consult the program on the WEON Congress website to see on which day you are assigned.
  • If you will not be able to present your poster, please inform us of the presenting author before May 28, 23:59 hrs.

Poster pitch, during the plenary/parallel sessions

  • Selected posters will be invited for a one-minute poster pitch during the sessions.
  • If your poster is selected you need to send one PowerPoint slide (without animation) supporting your poster before May 28, 23:59 hrs.
  • The slide could be the keypoints of the poster.
  • Please include your name and poster’s title on your slide.
